WebKare - My Japanese Online Boyfriend

WebKare is the latest craze among Japanese girls! WebKare literally translate as Web Boyfriend, is a virtual simulation network that is available at the official website. You have to be able to read Japanese characters first before you are able to play; the registration currently is free. Click here to go to the official WebKare website! The game or social network was launched on the 10th September this year and since then has attracted 10,000 members and counting.



There are four anime boys available for players to hook on; they are Kaoru, Shun, Tukasa and Ryuuji. Upon registration you are asked to choose which boys you wish to hook with... @-@". Here are the boys’ profiles ^^



Kouru is the smart boy, a top scorer and also the chairman of the student academy. He has a serious character but also enjoy baking which potrays a cute side of him. I guess he will makes the girls go "kyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah Kouru-sama!!!!"



Ryuuji is the bad boy was in a school for troubled teenager! He is a strong fighter and well known in others schools as well. He loves music >.<

Shun is the popular boy in school, he belongs to the basketball team and really good at it. He is bright and full of energy. However he is not very good in study and a little concern on his height. Lol..

Tukasa is a Japanese Language teacher in high school. He is friendly and popular among the girls. He reminds me of a character in a manga I've read recently.

The registration is pretty simple, you only need to fill in your nickname, id game name and your email. Afterwards you will receive email to activate your account, simple as that! When you are done you can play straight away. The site works by allowing its members to interact with one of four male Anime characters in an effort to garner a relationship with them and eventually end the game by winning his heart. A virtual high school is used as the setting, and the real-life members of the site have to co-operate with each other in order to progress further in the dating game. Ah yes I register just to see what it's all about. Apparently you can hear them talk as well (pre-recorded voice) and also you can record your memories together in an album, in this case my first memory is to meet with Kouru. Anyway, I'm not sure I want to continue playing this game, it's not anything.. It's just that I think I'm too old for this kind of relationship ROFL plus I haven't even level my poor Shaman in DOMO lately. However, don't let me stop you from trying though, everyone is entitled to their opinion and these characters are yummy, if only I'm an anime I'd chase after Kouru ROFL. Have fun ^^

Dream of Mirror Online - Part 2 The Flying Frog Quest

As I have promised in my previous post, I'm gonna share my journey in this virtual world. After training hard (mostly doing quests to gain experience points) I finally reached level 15. I even came across my supposedly destined lover in town and while training on the plains. Once I met 3 of them in one map ROFL (roll on the floor laughing!!!)

As soon as I reached lvl 15, Chasm King appears before me with a new task, learn how to fly!!! This excites me, I'm getting tired travelling at low speed and following the same path around the hill bores me.

The first thing I did was to head to Swan Lake Basin to defeat the Flying Frog King, I was lucky when I got there two players wanting to do the same quest are waiting to form a quest party. I called upon my Teacher who helped us defeat the FFK easily. As soon as it was defeated I gain a flying powder that I need. Brought it to Randy Charleston in Eversun City and learn the skill. It is now available on my everyday skill window, amongst other daily skills such as fishing, mining, herding, making weapon, alchemy etc. but most importantly now I CAN FLY!

Defeating Flying Frog King Quest

Ah! Talk to Randy Charleston again! He told me he once fancy a flying fairy. He stole her magic shoes when she was bathing in a river so she could never return to Heaven and be with him on earth forever =.=". The fairy was furious of coz, even after he return the shoe she refused to talk to him but flying around Eversun City air. "Please" he said, please tell her I'm sorry and I really wish she could be with me forever. So using my flying skill, I try to find the fairy. My first attempt at flying really makes me dizzy but I manage to find her real fast with the help of my Teacher.

When I finally found her, she tells another story. According to her, she is not a heavenly being as Randy Charleston think she is. She is just another human being, but how did she gain the ability to fly? Certainly she didn't kill any Flying Frog King. Once, she saw a handsome heavenly being taking a bath in a nearby river. He was so handsome she fell in love right away, she wanted him to be with her forever so she stole his shoe. Unfortunately the heavenly man doesn't know how to swim and died drowning. Amused, I ask her why she didn't accept Randy's love? Her answer was alot simpler!! Check the picture below and you'll understand.

Bread and Butter

Well, this is one cute game that will save your hard disk, no installation required as the game is flash based. What you need to do is to create and account with Outspark and you are free to play all their games. Now Bread and Butter is the kind of game you played at leisure speed, you increase your store level by selling... duh pastry. Some recipe, store decoration and new location on the map are only available after you reach certain level or you may buy from the online Store.
To manage your store you can hire help to maintain the cleanliness and to entertain customer.

How to gather material for cooking? Well by playing their cute mini games such as Spooky Strawberry Patch to gather strawberry or Banana Beats to gather banana. Same thing goes to baking, you will need all these item you have collected for baking. Each recipe requires different ingredients and you get to play different mini games for each recipe as well.

Dream of Mirror Online - part 1

Dream of Mirror Online or aka DOMO amongst the player is now availabe in open Beta for English version, brought by Aeria Games. I have played so many mmorpg before and currently I'm hook to DOMO. What I love about DOMO is player are able to exchange jobs any time after reaching lvl 10, without having to build a second character like most mmorpg I've played. Currently it is only offering 2 characters slot. I can simply go to the Career Advisor NPC and do a job change at the Dojo in Eversun City or any other city. So whenever I got bored playing Shaman (that's my main job), i just change into a Doctor or Dancer. Currently there are 13 jobs availabe. Another job I'm looking foward to try is Witch Doctor. It is currently unavailable. When I got bored with training, I do fun quests. Finishing quest rewards not only experience and fame, but equipments and miscellaneous tools as well. There are some quest limitation though, to my greatest regret the pet quest, it is only available in Japan and Korea. What i love most about DOMO is the ability to equip skills and weapon from other job that you have learn. In my case, playing Shaman requires alot of mana points (MP) and sometimes when I'm out of MP and attack points (yes you can accumulate attack points and strike a special blow, the more you accumulate, the higher the damage!!), and when it's lagging >.< (my inet is bad plus I'm playing on US server and I'm from the other side of the world... sigh. Maybe I should play DOMO Indo version but I have problem understanding most of the language.. sigh again!!! XXXXXP), the monster caught up with me and I get damage. This is when Doctor's Regeneration skills are important. Take note however, using secondary weapon doesn't give the 100% damage as using your main weapon!

I've become a full fledged Shaman after taking the qualification quest ^^

When I first started, a series of question was given. This determined of your social status in the game. You will be able to develop 3 types of relationship, Teacher and Student, Friends, and Lover. You can develop this relationship by appointing another player to be a Teacher or Student, Friends or Lover at the NPC. I've met a player who was very helpful to me so I appoint him as a teacher, the relationship level may be increased by paying Dreamstone which is drop by monster randomly. I've learn that playing together with you teacher, student, lover or friends.. anyone that you have a high level relationship will give a bonus attack or buff. However, some of the relationship are predestined depending on your birth date and Chinese zodiac sign, you'll be connected to a certain players by fate. I've met a relative and rival online. As for the destined lover, you will be able to find out pretty fast as you are abviously connected by a thin red line. Of coz, it only make things awkward to most player and choose to pay no attention to it, the same goes to me. Never really talk to my supposedly destined lover. So even if you meet one, nothing will happen without initiative!!

I've appoint another player to be my teacher, using action skill (advanced emo) to show my appreciation..rofl

How much is the game fee? no worry it is free ^^. The only thing that I regret is not able to play all the different races offered. Yes, there are four races, Human, Slyph, Shura and Sprite.
